On the Wings of a Beagle

Who rescued who in the year 2000? At the time, I believed I was giving this dog a life, a home, and love. He needed to find a home so that Animal Control would not decide on his destiny.
Thirteen years later, and many moments in between I realized to life's full depth that this beagle named "Eddie" had
not only rescued me, but would give me a life purpose. On the wings of a beagle, a true four legged angel, a furry soulmate hound I was lifted out of the "depths of despair".
